In The Royal Writ, you strategically deploy cards representing battle-hardened animal warriors, each with distinct abilities. As they march toward the enemy, they deal damage—but if they reach the enemy base before winning, they are destroyed forever. The game blends roguelike progression with deep tactical choices, requiring careful planning to preserve your forces while securing victory. Special relics, challenge modes, and unique boss mechanics add layers of strategy to every run.

Story

Lead your kingdom through two gripping campaigns. The First Campaign sees you defending the throne against a growing rebellion, navigating treacherous terrain like poison swamps and deep pits. The Second Campaign introduces gunpowder warfare, forcing you to adapt to deadly new threats. Along the way, you'll encounter eccentric characters—like a mantis dentist or a goat tactician—who shape your journey.
