MATCHING GAME - WHAT DOES THE MONKEY FEEL? (CCPPL001)
This adorable monkey game will help children identify and express different emotions: happiness, upset, anger, surprise and fear. Use the picture cards to encourage the children to think about certain situations and the emotions they had at that moment. Ask the children to choose a certain face for the monkey and suggest some reasons why the monkey might feel that way. The game contributes to the development of fine motor skills, language and self-confidence, but also to the identification and expression of emotions and feelings.
The set includes:
- 1 wooden box
- 15 magnetic pieces (5 eye pieces, 5 mouth pieces, 5 picture cards)
Regulations:
- Level 1 : Reproducing the face - Encourage the children to use the magnetic pieces to reproduce and name the monkey faces on the picture cards.
- Level 2 : Reminder -Name the feeling. For example: ƒ??Scared? and ask the child to make a monkey with that face, without looking at the picture cards or the pictures in the box.
- Level 3 : Association - Place a picture card (thought) above the monkey's head. Observe what happens and ask the child to guess the feeling, to name it and to use the game pieces to make a monkey with that face.
