The forestry industry has enjoyed a revival in recent years due to the purchase of renewable raw materials.
The new MACK GRANITE WOOD TRUCK WITH LOADING CRANE, GRAB AND 3 LOGS - BRUDER (02824) for the transport of raw material over long distances on the road is the latest addition to the numerous forest vehicles from BRUDER.
The MACK truck, like the original, has a loading crane mounted behind the driver's cabin.
The loading crane is equipped with a grapple for catching and handling the logs. The grab can be locked in the open position.
When the time comes for a log to be lifted, the grapple is lowered and automatically closes around the log when there is contact. An example of the functionality of this truck.
Other points of attraction are the extendable crane supports that can be lowered, as well as the chains on the bars on the loading platform, which have the role of protecting the load.
Of course, the bars can also be folded down to load the timber from the side.
The truck can be unloaded by tilting the loading platform backwards.
