Give a Minecraft® player ages 8 and up an iconic Diamond Sword - on a giant scale! LEGO® Minecraft Sword Shelter (21244) uses the precious weapon as inspiration for a super cool base where kids can build a chill out area and take part in explosive battles.
The children build a giant diamond sword as a base on the side of a mountain and defend it against attacks from hostile creatures. The base includes a table, a cake and a music jukebox where they can "listen" to a record. Outside, Sentinel Soldier and Guardian Warrior figures stand guard. More firepower is provided by 2 shooters located in front of the base.
Hostile creatures include a Creeper™ and a skeleton. Friendly critters include an ally upright piglet that has foil wings. A lever at the bottom of the tower triggers an explosion that knocks down part of the structure.
The fun extends digitally, with the LEGO Builder app featuring zoom and rotate tools that allow kids to visualize models as they build.
